HDR Stands for High Dynamic Range. HDR Photography is a fairly new type of photography which has become popular with the advances in photoshop and digital post processing software. Simply put it is the process of combining several photos which range in exposure (brightness) into one surreal image. These images really stand out and its a wonderful way of tricking your brain into experiencing much more than a normal photograph.
Why do people insist on using the flash?

I find it funny how many times I have heard a curious observer exclaiming, "Wait!!!! The flash isn't on!"....... Think about it. Well, the topic of flash photography is not going to be covered completely in this post, but I will give you a better idea of when and why not to use that firework on the top of your camera.
