Impact Images Production Studios has been providing commercial photography, graphic design, and print management for corporate and retail customers since 1978. In 1989 we pioneered one of the first all digital production facilities, becoming a leader in the industry. As Beta testers for Scitex/Leaf, Sony, and Eastman Kodak, we developed an exclusively digital workflow from capture to print. Our vast experience has afforded us an intuitive command over technology. This distinction allows us to be creative and decisive in today's on-demand and sophisticated home furnishings market.

As a home furnishings specialty studio, we have approximately 8000 square feet of shooting area to accommodate a multitude of room sets. Most sets are modular, facilitating many special possibilities. In addition, we have easy access to a variety of resources which help us customize our sets to the specific needs of the clients.
Whatever the styling requirements, Impact Images provides solutions to exceed the expectations of our clients. Customer satisfaction is paramount to us. To ensure the best outcome, we use both online approvals and client visits when requested. Our warehouse is home to a huge inventory of furniture and accessories.

Photography
Impact Images utilizes digital technology combined with decades of experience and talent to enhance the visual appeal of any product or service. Our studio's spacious capacity, propping, and set resources allow us to handle everything from tabletop to full room production photography.
All product is professionally hand prepped, then digitally logged in to allow for interactive supervision on the part of the client. We can achieve optimal results by working together to make every product look its absolute best.
Products are styled and propped according to the client's requirements and the product's design.
Impact Images possesses a vast array of lighting equipment. Lighting helps to set the overall mood, supporting the style of the product.
High resolution digital cameras capture the image which is then wirelessly linked to a graphic workstation. Photographs are refined (composition, styling, propping, camera angles) for immediate online approvals. Once the image is approved we perform more refined retouching, color correction, and proofing in accordance with printing industry standards.
In the end, it is a combination of prep, style, lighting, and prepress precision that determine a successful outcome--a result that will capture the attention of any potential buyer.
Image Retouching
Advances in Photoshop and mapping software have allowed us to provide our clients with endless possibilities. Our retouching team can do virtually anything to meet deadlines, enhance photos, and correct defects.

Graphic Design

Prepress
When the finished product photo reflects elegance in design and appears luminous on screen, the creative goal has been achieved. However, here is where the next stage begins. The prepress stage requires complex knowledge and proprietary equipment to provide accountable proofing results. At Impact Images every job that leaves for print undergoes the rigor of this process. The proof and color management thereby serve as a strict guideline for the client's desired printing process result.

Colors are adjusted on screen to match the product. They are then sent to a digital proofing station where software calculates ink densities and color values. They are printed on calibrated paper with specific printer profiles to match press standards. The original file is then tweaked to ensure that the final printed product will achieve the desired result. This digital proof, along with the adjusted file, is shipped to the printer. Now the printer knows exactly what the final product should look like and has a guideline to work from.
